IrBEA 11th National BioEnergy Conference

The Irish BioEnergy Association is running its 11th National BioEnergy Conference on the 16th of February in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Newlands Cross, Dublin.
Minister for Communications Energy and Natural Resources, Pat Rabbitte will open the conference and the lineup of national and international speakers will be discussing CAP Reform and BioEnergy, REFIT, anaerobic digestion, combined heat and power and project financing; future bioenergy demand and supply will be discussed by experts from the International Energy Agency and COFORD.
Some very interesting Irish projects will be presented, including how international pharmaceutical and food companies are now installing biomass boilers in their plants in Ireland to save costs and enhance the local economy.
The Minister will also launch a new report on the job creation potential of bioenergy and how bioenergy can bring business to the rural economy.
