Energy Policy and Statistical Support Unit
SEI has a lead role in developing and maintaining comprehensive national and sectoral statistics for energy production, transformation and end use. This data is a vital input into meeting international reporting obligations and for advising and providing policy makers with invaluable policy indicators.

The Energy Policy Statistical Support Unit (EPSSU) is SEI’s dedicated statistics team. Its core functions relate to:

• collecting, processing and publishing energy statistics to support policy analysis and development in line with national needs and international obligations;
• conducting statistical and economic analyses of energy services sectors and sustainable energy options;
• contributing to the development and promulgation of appropriate sustainability indicators.
