An essential aspect of becoming a Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) is the creation of an Energy Master Plan (EMP). An EMP can be considered as an energy balance for the community and at a simple level, it allows a community to understand energy demand and supply within its Sustainable Energy Zone (SEZ). SEAI has developed an Energy Master Plan tool that can be used by communities wishing to collect and analyse data.
