What's in it?

The Partnership Certificate includes the following elements:

  • A public Statement of Intent to commit to the Public Sector energy efficiency improvement target of 33% set for 2020.
  • Demonstrated commitment from the highest management level as shown by the signature of the Principal or Chief Executive of the organisation.
 

A Public Statement of Intent

The Partnership Programme document is a public Statement of Intent to show that your organisation is committed to:

  • Effective energy management.
  • Making energy savings.
  • Reporting annually on energy efficiency initiatives and savings made.
  • Playing its part in meeting the Public Sector energy efficiency improvement target of 33% by 2020.

The Signature of the Chief Executive of the Organisation

“The first law of energy saving is: the greater the commitment, the greater the saving.”

The commitment to the Partnership Programme needs to come from the top of the organisation as demonstrated by the signature of the CEO, County Manager or other Principal.
